Credentials...continued OF COUNSEL: GEORGE R. ADAMS is an estate planning attorney with a broad trust, estate, and investment background. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Colorado, his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, his ABA Graduate Trust School degree from Northwestern University, and his M.B.A. from Loyola College of Baltimore. Mr. Adams is a Fellow of the Esperti Peterson Institute for Global Wealth Strategies Planning. His experience includes more than 20 years of trust administration and business development experience at Riggs National Bank, including Vice President and Trust Officer in Charge of Personal and Institutional Business Development, and 9 years in related capacities including President of Chevy Chase Securities, President of Chevy Chase Insurance Agency, and Manager of Trust Administration and Business Development at Chevy Chase Trust Group and the Greater Washington Trust Office of First National Bank of Maryland. He has served as the President of the District of Columbia Estate Planning Council and Director of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. A frequent lecturer on the topics of estate and financial planning, Mr. Adams has assisted tax exempt organizations with creating planned giving programs and foundations. He serves on the Boards of several national and local foundations and numerous civic, fraternal, and charitable organizations. SHELTON M. BINSTOCK, formerly with the Internal Revenue Service's Estate and Gift Tax Division, has practiced as an attorney for over 25 years. He earned his Masters of Laws in Taxation (LL.M) degree from the National Law Center at George Washington University and B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Maryland. Mr. Binstock is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.), and a Fellow of the Esperti Peterson Institute for Wealth Strategies Planning Mr. Binstock's firm, Binstock, Torchinsky & Associates, P.C., which includes George R. Adams as Of Counsel, is listed among the preeminent law firms by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Binstock is a frequent speaker and has taught estate planning and taxation courses for the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Association of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. DAVID B. TORCHINSKY is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland and earned his J.D. degree from The Catholic University of America.
